Drug Abuse Treatment

Why Our Drug Abuse Treatment Program Works

The Pat Moore Foundation is well-known for our drug abuse treatment programs. In fact, for more than 25 years, we’ve specialized in programs that feature medically-assisted detoxification. We’ve understood for many years there are many factors contributing to our clients’ addictions and we strive to give them the individual attention they deserve – no two drug addicts are alike. Factors such as; drugs used, drug use levels, age, gender, family history, and tolerance are all part of this dynamic, so understanding this is what makes the Pat Moore Foundation unique it its own right.

How Our Drug Abuse Treatment Works

The most powerful tool we have at the Pat Moore Foundation is our staff. We recognize that withdrawing from a drug addiction can create a plethora of physical and emotional stresses, so when our clients enter our 44-bed facility they are assigned a case manager. Our case managers are Certified Addiction Specialists who meet daily with each client to ensure they are as comfortable as possible and to make sure their concerns are being met. This truly offers personalized treatment that quickly fosters a bonding relationship. We also have a psychologist, doctor, nutritionist, psychiatrist, and a team on staff that places our client-staff ratio to nearly one-on-one.

Creating a safe detoxification environment is first and foremost at the Pat Moore Foundation. We strive to ensure a comfortable, home-like environment because we’ve come to know this is crucial to our clients’ state of mind. Contingent upon their physical well-being, each client will continue to participate in counseling sessions with their case manager as well as group therapy. In addition to this, if a client needs further medical attention, the Costa Mesa and Newport Beach area have renowned hospitals within minutes of the Pat Moore Foundation’s Costa Mesa campus and facility.

Alone, detoxification is rarely sufficient in terms of fostering long-term abstinence so we strongly recommend our residential treatment of 90-days. Our minimum stay is 30-days, and each includes a customized drug abuse treatment program. In addition to we strongly encourage and believe in the Twelve Step Program for our alumna. They are a tool to provide a clean and sober lifestyle.
