Charles F. Palmieri is the Clinical Director at Pat Moore Foundation. Chuck has been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 27 years, and has had successful private practices in Apple Valley, Hesperia, Long Beach and Seal Beach. With an 11 year devotion to helping other alcoholics and addicts, Chuck finds daily personal rewards by working in the field of alcohol and other drug addictions, as he is also been sober since 2001.
“I have found that sobriety isn’t just a matter of not using drugs and alcohol. It’s finding a new path to follow through life,” says Chuck. “This path includes a Higher Power and a plan to be a better person and lead a better life. I want everyone to feel the sense of accomplishment, hope and self-respect of sobriety.”
Through his personal Alcoholics Anonymous journey, Chuck has had extensive contact and familiarity with groups of all ages, asocial levels, sexual orientations, religions and ethnicities. For Chuck, there is no such thing as a typical drug addict/alcoholic. This is a disease of the mind, an obsession.
Chuck’s focus at Pat Moore Foundation is to continue working with families, individuals, couples, and groups in therapy, as he strongly believes clients are entitled to the highest quality of service within his training, experience and scope of practice. Chuck has experience utilizing multidisciplinary therapeutic modalities, including evidence based treatment. In addition, Chuck also brings to the table experience and training in dual-diagnosis, evaluation and treatment planning.
“I believe in excellence, integrity, and the highest standard of mental health services. I believe you will find the best of services at Pat Moore Foundation.” Chuck is part of our outstanding staff and his experience, strength and hope enhances our program and leadership. We are privileged he is a part of Pat Moore Foundation.”
