Orange County Eats
Las Brisas – This restaurant sits atop one of the most breathtaking views on California’s coast. Situated on a cliff overlooking a rocky Laguna Beach cove, the waitresses and waiters serve up tasty Mexican food while Mother Nature provides the ultimate in seaside dining.
Sprinkles Cupcakes - Corona Del Mar has taken these delicious little cakes to a new level. This designer cupcake boutique has any flavor of cake, custard filling or frosting you can imagine. They even serve up frosting shooters for the truly brazen sugar enthusiast.
Ruby’s Diner - A landmark since the 1940’s, Ruby’s Diner is located at the end of the Balboa pier and has served up the best burgers, fries and shakes for decades in a nostalgic World War II era setting.
Cannery – The only one of its kind, this restaurant is a converted cannery that kept its conveyor belts and pulleys as decorations and delivers great seafood; including a mouth-watering calamari appetizer. It hovers right over the water so you can watch the sailboats and yachts glide by while you eat on an old wharf styled deck.
Orange Hill - The most amazing view of city lights can be seen from the large patio nestled high on a hill in Orange. There are crackling fire pits and light breezes to accompany the gourmet California Cuisine served at this jewel of a restaurant.
Dukes - One of the trendiest places to eat on the coast, this steak and seafood house was named after Duke Kahanamoku, a Waikiki wave rider who became legendary. The birds-eye view of the breaking surf is a tribute to its namesake. The restaurant sits right on the sand at the bottom of Huntington Beach pier and the food is as delicious as the surfside atmosphere.
Woody’s Diner - This seaside greasy spoon has the biggest omelettes and juiciest burgers in Sunset Beach.
