Phil Allen, CAS II, CCDC, is a nationally certified addiction specialist, and has been in the recovery field for the past 20 years. Mr. Allen has been with Pat Moore Foundation for 10 years, and is also an alumni.
With his wife at his side, Mr. Allen began his work with Pat Moore Foundation when it was in a single home located in Santa Ana, California. At that time they had a social model modality and serving “only” the male population with 6 beds. Since then, Mr. Allen has grown Pat Moore Foundation into serving both men and women, in a 76 bed facility, with a clinical modality located in beautiful Costa Mesa, California. Mr. Allen has dramatically increased the level of care and has devoted his life’s work into helping people receive quality treatment at an affordable cost. Mr. Allen is a skilled problem solver, a strong leader and mentor, and is involved with the staff of Pat Moore Foundation on a daily basis by overseeing all facets of operations, including admissions, assessments, clinical team, after-care, and referrals to outside professionals.
Having struggled with addiction himself and amidst his family members, Mr. Allen has experienced the life shattering effects of addiction from both sides, and understands what the addict and family members are going through. Sobriety has given him a life of purpose, integrity and honor, and he and his wife strive to share this personal journey, this miracle, with fellow struggling addicts who endeavor to become sober.
