Medical Detoxification lasts from a few days to a week or more depending on the individual's clinical needs and situation. The Medical Detoxification program includes room and board, a medical evaluation, 24-hour supervision, detoxification medications, and participation in our detoxification schedule modalities. Suboxone is for opiate detoxification, and only certified, specially trained physicians are allowed to prescribe this medication. Residents will be able to rid their bodies of the drugs with very little discomfort. The length of stay varies per residents' needs; however the average length of stay is 10 days. The Suboxone Detoxification program includes room and board, medical assessment, 24-hour supervisions, and participation in our detox schedule modalities. The drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs at Pat Moore Foundation are residential alternatives for men and women. Licensed and certified by The State of California, we provide medically managed and non-medical detoxification and primary residential treatment. Located near Newport Beach and Huntington Beach in Costa Mesa, CA, our individual homes are on a unique co-ed campus where we offer gender specific treatment.
Attending a long term residential treatment center helps individuals who suffer from addiction by removing them from their environment for a period of time with less distractions. We provide a safe place that is removed from the places where our clients used drugs or alcohol. There is no quick fix for addiction. Recovery is a process. The skills one learns during intensive inpatient programs must be integrated into everyday life, and this takes time.
