Dependence Upon Subutex

One of the positives to using Subutex as an opiate dependency medication is that it is inexpensive. Unfortunately due to its addictive nature it has become increasingly more popular on the black market. Addiction to Subutex is on the rise.

Subutex | Which works best? Subutex or Suboxone?

Wondering which opiate recovery treatment medication works best shows that you might be interested in knowing more about Subutex and Suboxone, and it also might indicate you're interested in getting sober. Both Subutex and Suboxone can help you.

Subutex | It is Not a Game

Subutex is one of the newest medications in the opioid addiction treatment field. When someone enters a drug treatment center they are first assessed by a doctor and then the decision to have a medically-managed Subutex detoxification protocol will be made. This drug is used to help manage the pain of withdrawal in some treatment centers, but not all.

Subutex | Hitting the Ceiling

In October of 2002, the Food and Drug Administration approved a formulation called Subutex. Subutex is used in the initial stages of opiate addiction therapy to help alleviate withdrawal symptom pain while allowing the patient to experience a lesser degree of sedation and respiratory depression. It also doesn't allow any significant impairment of cognitive of motor skills.

Subutex: Is it Just like Suboxone?

It seems that lately one of the most popular questions besides what actually happens in an alcohol drug treatment program is whether or not a patient will need to be medically managed using Suboxone or Subutex. It certainly depends on the type of drug(s) the person has been abusing. If it is not an opioid then the answer would be no.

Subutex: To Drink or Not to Drink

I was recently scrolling websites where people blog or chat about their addiction(s) to drugs and/or alcohol. As someone who works in the field, I think it’s important to continue not only my formal education but also to research and find the pulse of how others feel regarding addiction and alcohol drug treatment programs. So, I stumbled upon this chat and well, although I knew this information already it is interesting to read other peoples’ opinions.
